Product Support  Installation Error - Setup is not a valid Win32 application - Device attached to system not functioning The information in this article applies to: MARS 16bit and 32bit rating applications for Windows Customized 16bit and 32bit rating applications built by Middlewest Symptoms During installation you receive the following message: "A:Setup is not a valid Win32 application" or "A device attached to the system is not functioning". Cause This error can be caused by a defective diskette. Resolution Contact the Middlewest customer service department at (800) 545-7091 for a free replacement.  CD's are much more reliable than diskettes and are recommended if your system has a CD drive.
