Product Support  InstallShield GPF's on inist30.exe The information in this article applies to: MARS 16bit rating applications for Windows Customized 16bit rating applications built by Middlewest Symptoms During installation InstallShield produces a general protection fault on isinst30.exe. Cause This error can occur when you install a rating system produced prior to November of 1998 on some computer systems produced since mid-1998. Resolution Check to see if an updated version of the software is available.  If you are connected to a network, and if a newer 16bit version of a rating system produced by Middlewest has already been installed on that computer, you may be able to install the problem system on a different computer then move the files to a folder on your computer.
