Product Support  Setup initialization error message The information in this article applies to: MARS 32bit rating applications for Windows Customized 32bit rating applications built by Middlewest Symptoms When you attempt to install the rating system on Windows 3.x you receive the error message: "Setup requires a different version of Windows.  Check to make sure that you are running Setup on the Windows platform for which it was intended.  Error 102" Cause This error can occur when you attempt to install a 32bit version of the rating application on Windows 3.x. Resolution A 32bit application cannot run on Windows 3.x, which is designed for 16bit applications.  Check to see if a 16bit version of the software is available either from your sales representive or Middlewest if you purchased the application from us.  If a 16bit version of the application is not available, you will need to upgrade your operating system to Windows95 or newer.
